Successful Final Cup with the RZO Squad!

**Sophia Walker collected valuable points for the RZO Regional Team at the Swiss Youth Cup Final in Oberkirch on 25 April 2026"

Sophia Walker was able to take part in the Youth Cup Final with the RZO Regional Squad. The Youth Cup is a team event with the 5 Swiss regional squad sections from Switzerland. Sophia collected valuable points for the team in the 100 m breaststroke and freestyle disciplines. In addition, she set a Youth Cup record time of 1:16.01 in her age group in the 100 m breaststroke. Sophia also achieved this with her relay team, Mila Korda, Hanna Rhomeder and Alyna Gerber, in the 4x50 medley relay in her age category with a time of 2:08.29. In the end, the 12-year-old RZO team also won the overall standings and stood at the very top of the podium. Great performance.

Sophia's note: Such a great weekend, staying overnight in Sursee with the RZO squad. It was so great to swim for and with my squad and even to win. We had such a super time. Thanks to the organisers from RZO for this great experience!
