Sophia Walker's successful first event with the Limmat Sharks Swimming Club!

Sophia Walker beamed and swam for her new swimming club Limmat Sharks and won the silver medal in the 100m breaststroke

Sophia Walker switched to the Limmatsharks swimming club at the beginning of the year, where she now trains almost daily in Oerlikon. It was the first competition event with her new club and team. The great team spirit and joy could be felt throughout the entire competition.

The 12-year-old swimmer competed in seven individual races and secured her best result in her 100 m breaststroke specialty. She completed the remaining races with several personal best times, new experiences and a learning process.

The 44th International Indoor Youth Day offered the young swimming talents from the region a strong competitive field. For Sophia Walker, it was a successful start to the season with the Limmatsharks in her new home pool.
